Hey everyone,

Have any of you experienced eye or head issues from using the computer? If so, how did you address them? Personally, I've switched to a TFT monitor for my home computer, and for work, I use a laptop. This change has helped me a lot. Additionally, I occasionally remember to wear my reading glasses, which also makes a difference. Oh, and I almost forgot, my doctor prescribed some eye drops for me. I'd appreciate any advice you have on this.

Perhaps you should consider getting a new prescription or adjusting the lighting around your monitor. Additionally, have you looked into whether the refresh rates could be affecting your eye strain?

As people age, it's common for eye problems to arise. It's good that you've adjusted your monitor's contrast to the minimum level, and taking breaks after long hours of work is definitely a smart move. Keep up those habits to help alleviate any strain on your eyes.

I agree with etech-support's suggestion that taking regular breaks from the computer can help relax your eyes. It's also a good idea to maintain a distance of at least 20 inches from the screen and take a break every 20 minutes, if possible. These practices can contribute to reducing eye strain.
